Snapshot of a TMC Solution

The architecture of your TMC system may include TMC turnkey appliances purchased from TrafficVision, or it may include Virtual Machines running the TMC software. Both snapshot scenarios are pictured separately below.

Turnkey Appliance(s) and Software

A complete TMC turnkey appliance(s) and software solution includes the following components:

Video (live or recorded) from traffic monitoring cameras A computer network At least one TMC or TMC Remote computer appliance The TMC Web Application

Account Types

The TMC Web Application provides three types of user accounts:

  1. An admin account can:
  1. A user account can access settings and functionality assigned by a user with an admin account. This enables organizations to:
  1. An external service account polls real-time data (as json files) from the TMC Web Application for other programs or services, but it is not authorized to access any interface settings or functionality.
